Here are some pictures of currency from my trip. How much is each worth in Australian dollars?

Calculating Speed

Our holiday did not begin well with a delay at over two hours at Sydney airport. Once we got under way on the A380-800 I was able to collect the following information on the first leg of our trip from Sydney to Dubai. Can you work out the average speed for the first leg.

Distance covered 12360 km

Flying Time from Sydney to Dubai 11 hours 50 minutes

After an unschooled used 24 stay in Dubai we then caught another A380-800 to Gatwick in London. 

This trip covered 5630 km and took us 7 hours and 40 minutes

Compare the two average speeds. 

How many more people can the new A380-800 jets carry then a Boeing 737?

Quite time

Whilst waiting for our second missed flight I was sitting in Gatwick airport in London when I looked down upon the way queues are setup for checking in. Here is a picture taken from above of how some airlines setup their queues. Could you design a better setup? Why have the airlines chosen the setups shown in the picture.
